My Creepy Fireplace

Maybe I've been watching too many episodes of 'Bones' lately 

because I am really liking my creepy skull collector theme

 on my fireplace mantel this year.

My Dollar Store skeleton received a coat of silver spray paint, 

 and I brought a planter from outside to display a plaster skull and stuck some mice in an eye and mouth.

Skulls, mice, severed parts are front and center.

Should I be worried that my daughter thinks the rat's shiny red eyes are cool?

I'm not going to worry,

she is my daughter after all.

Creepy...
