My Blogcation is officially over.

My blogcation has come to an end.

I am back from a very refreshing vacation in Colorado.

I brought back a ton of photos,
 many wonderful memories,
and a ton of mosquito bites.

Here are some random shots:

My daughter visiting with Dolly,
the very pregnant donkey.

A view of my in-laws (harvested) crops and
the majestic Mount Blanca in the background.

My son finding some freedom
 on his motorcycle.

Some roadside wildflowers (weeds) picked by yours truly.

A rancher feeding his horses.

An old barn where I chased many pigs in my youth.

And, my Mom's backyard view.

Now that we're are home,
there is no more sleeping with the windows open,
no wearing sweatshirts at night and no big country breakfasts every morning.

Why did we come home to Arizona again?

  3. I've never been to Colorado, or Arizona for that matter. Just a Calif girl, I guess. But I love your pics. I love the view from your mom's house. Gorg!

  6. Wow... it is hard to go back to "real life" after time in such a beautiful location... Even if where you live is pretty too.

  8. Colorado IS a very beautiful and diverse state..
it stole my heart completely..even tho my soul remains true to my Florida panhandle beachy roots.
we DO indeed sleep with our windows open at nite.
and tap water is always icy cold at my house..
    I love the seasons;
    finally Spring,
    unpredictable Summer,
    At last! Awesome Autumn..
and Winter..the longest, coldest 6 months of the year!
there is so much natural outdoorsy stuff to do..
everyone should at least visit Colorado ONCE in their lifetime..you won't regret it..
    I promise!!
    warm sandy hugs..
