Some more USA Love

I showed my USA Love
and since I'm all about themes,
I will continue this theme
until the well runs dry.

My Tiki torches have been looking a little drab lately.
They've lost their luster and their freshness
as only a Tiki Torch can.

Instead of paying $3.99 each and replacing the torches I have,
knowing they're going to sit in the baking Arizona sun once again,
I decided to freshen mine up just a bit,
with a little inspiration from Michael's Craft Store.

I rustled up my supply of red, white and blue paint
and commenced
"Operation Red White and Blue!"

I taped and I sprayed
and came up with my own version of a patriotic torch.

I'm just squeeeeeezing out a little more life for one more summer season.
I'm just cheap frugal that way.

From drab to fab.

Now how easy is that?

  7. These look great. I love to repurpose things and give them a new life.
About putting your dad's rocks out. I love this. But I would coat them with a protector or sealer if they are going to be out in the elements. Unless ofcourse he did this after painting them.
