Sofa Table - Before & After

The day after I painted my kitchen table,
I had plenty of leftover paint so I set out to find something else to transform.
Hey, I still had my painting towels and old sheets out on the floor, I had to make good use of them.
 Not to mention, leftover paint.

I spotted this sofa table in my front room,
had my husband drag it on over to my indoor painting station.

A shiny oak sofa table.

Although she was shiny,
 I painted over her anyway.
 No sanding, no nothing.
I did remove the old hardware.

2 coats of paint, new hardware and some accessories and
she was transformed into a smart little bar table.

I rarely have a cocktail in my hand
but I still keep barware on hand for those ladies from my

My inspiration for this display was from Eddie Ross.

Who knows what will be on display next month?
All I know is that it's updated,
 fresh,
and I feel like I have a new piece of furniture for less than $20.00

Want to transform something?

This is the paint I use from Lowes.
It's eight dollars and some change.
Notice, I painted this inside my house?
This paint does not have a strong odor
which is perfect for those in cold climates or for those who just don't like strong odors.

Send me a before and after,
or go on over to Better After
and get some, before and after,
inspiration.
