While I was on my one year anniversary "blogcation", I went to Rocky Point, Mexico.
October is my friend Michelle's month to host our Left, Right, Center Group.
She chose her family condo in Rocky Point as the venue.
What could be better than a high stakes, high intensity game of Left, Right, Center in Mexico?
Not much, people.
The stars were in alignment for
7 ladies, and we took Michelle up on her weekend offer.
Suzanne, Ms. Iowa, Shannon, Me, Tammy, Sheila, Michelle and Shawn
When I told my kids that I was going to Rocky Point for the weekend they were literally speechless.
Not speechless because I was leaving them for the weekend.
Speechless because they love Rocky Point and you'll soon see why.
I'm going to take you on a tour of their condo.
They have decorated it "island style",
choosing each and every piece of furniture and accessories, themselves.
It's calm and inviting.
First off,
the kitchen...
Modern appliances, margarita machine, lovely cabinetry...
The HUGE island seats six or seven.
Please note: The cook does not come with the condo, that is Suzanne whipping up some very tasty guacamole.

Living and dining areas.
Notice how the glass doors slide WIDE open.
A wonderful breeze and plenty of natural light flow in.
Delicious meals eaten here.

A glimpse of the master bedroom...
Soothing colors,
and a wonderful mix of textures makes this bedroom tranquil.

Kevin's side of the master bath...
(Michelle's side looks exactly the same)

The artwork throughout speaks "island" style.

A bathroom down the hallway,
with double sinks and walk in shower.

Their son, Taylor's room...

Nice comfy chair for a teenager.

Next,
daughter Alexa's room.
When my family visits, we kick Alexa out and take over her space.
She handles it well.
There's a pull out couch for my little people.
Her room has a wet bar...

and a nicely appointed full bath.

Kevin and Michelle paid attention to all the details,
like this curved door,

and the tiled medallion in the entry.
they know this is what awaits them at the condo...
Say it with me people,
ahhhhhh.
Lazy river,
jacuzzi,
pool,
outdoor restaurant,
beach,
guacamole,
salsa and chips.
and this view.
I'm amazed my kids are still talking to me.
Maybe,
I can make it up to them by taking a little 3 hour rode trip down south
and crashing in on Michelle and her family,
who are enjoying fall break.
I don't think they'd mind, do you?
Want to join me?
I could always say, you wanted to see the place in person.
Kevin and Michelle,
thanks for sharing!
