A blog dedicated to my neighbor.....

“Yinda? What ya do'in?” If I'm not paying attention to my caller ID I know right away when I hear this, that it's my dear neighbor Lisa! (I think she got the term from Carson when he was an itty bit!)

Lisa is my saving grace! It's typical for her to get a phone call from me saying “can I borrow some eggs?, “can I borrow some rice? , “can I borrow some milk?....get the picture? Notice how I say “borrow” ...I never seem to return the items! (typical neighbor)
Lisa opens her home to my kids where they stay for hours. It's her home away from home! Jamie has been known to stay there all day and at time's even been forgotten about! (I think Jamie is confused about where her “real” home is.)

My sweet dear neighbor can talk your ear off if you haven't noticed! She has story, after story! Stories about family, growing up.... How can one person have so much to tell , I ask myself.....then I realize it's Lisa!!

Speaking of family....her family also has the talking thing going on too! Must be genetic! And we can't forget about Bea, her sweetheart of a mother! I love when Bea comes to stay with Lisa. Bea has been known to come down and have a beer with us and ends up offering to do my ironing?

Martha Stewart ring a bell?. When I first met Lisa she wasn't much of a baker or crafty person. That was me! Well, let me just tell you....times are changing! I'm getting some competition from this woman and I don't think I like it!

check these out.....homemade cake cookies...

Miss Lisa here is starting to step up to the plate! She'd say to me “Yinda, it's all about the presentation”.

Lately, it seems, everything Lisa does is about the presentation! She's been hard at work!

Now that she has tested the waters with the whole baking thing...what does she start doing now....PHOTOGRAPHY! And decorating! And blogging! What's next neighbor?

So in conclusion....I would like to say......Happy Anniversary to “Popcorn Served Daily”...my favorite blog to read!

Thanks, Lisa, for being such a wonderful neighbor, friend AND blogger!

Love ya!
Linda (“otherwise known as Yinda”)
