Happy 2009 everyone!

I was a very good girl in 2008 and was gifted with this.

A Canon Rebel Xsi.

My little Olympus was on it's last leg and frankly I was not very happy with its performance. So I've ditched it, and replaced it with a more capable model.

I've been in the backyard testing out the features, the lenses, the lighting, etc. and this is what I've got so far.
A grapefruit tree.

My kids were ready to ditch me before I got this camera so you can imagine how much pain they're in now.

A lemon (in case you were wondering)

They're going to have to suck it up because I'm just getting my feet wet.


I will be lurking around every corner...
